You can donate your preloved and quality unused or unwanted items at any one of our shops or by depositing them into one of our blue donation bins.
Please ensure that donated items are clean and safe for other people to handle and wear. If possible, place donated items in a clean bin bag or something similar so that they stay clean and dry while awaiting collection.
What can I donate to Lifeline Shops?
There are a few things to remember when donating to Lifeline Shops. When considering donating your pre-loved goods to our ten Lifeline Shops, it's important to ask yourself these 3 questions:
Would I give this item to a friend?
If that dress you want to donate is in good condition and doesn't have any stains, chances are if you offered it to a friend they'd take it. But, if there's tears or stains or the dress is damaged they'd possibly (but politely) say "no thank you".
If your donation is good enough for a friend, it's good to donate!
Is it safe?
If your item is electrical or has a safety rating, it's important that it is safe for others to use. If your donation is broken or unsafe we can't offer it as a saleable item for others to purchase.
Is it on our list of requested donations?
There are a number of items we can readily accept and few that we can't. Lifeline Shops can accept any saleable donations and are currently requesting donations of:
-
Men's clothing
-
Women's clothing
-

-
